Designing a digital solution for mindful alcohol consumption

Less is a mobile app that helps users track how much they drink and build a healthier, more conscious relationship with alcohol. Partnering with Big Sky Health — creators of the renowned fasting app Zero — we collaborated to evolve their prototype into a fully designed and developed iOS app that reached 15,000+ users just a month after launch.

Embracing mindfulness as a core philosophy, we crafted an elegant and intuitive experience supported by unique storytelling: Les and Leslie, two illustrated sailors, guide users on a metaphorical journey toward moderation. Through dynamic animations and seamless UX, Less turns tracking into awareness, helping users drink more mindfully — and live better.
